Born and raised in the mountains of North Georgia, this Ball Ground native has seen his career take off in 2014. Thomas has been entertaining audiences for several years but decided in 2013 to take a different direction with his music. He wanted to write, record, and perform his own material. The response to that life altering decision was astounding. In just his first year as a solo artist, Thomas was a Finalist for Georgia Country Artist of the year (1 of 6), toured 6 states, recorded his first EP, performed live on television, and his songs hit large market radio, among many other accomplishments. He is quickly gaining recognition as both an entertainer and songwriter.
His first and recently released EP contains 6 songs written or co-written by Thomas. The lyrics are honest and real words that relate to everyday America. Its country吉林11选5遗漏 music to the core and Thomas’ smooth, soulful delivery puts you in the story with every song he sings and writes. He currently makes trips to Nashville to perform and write for independent publishing company, Out-Write Music. His EP and songwriting skills quickly garnered the attention of many in the industry. He was invited to join the “Last Honky Tonk Music Series Tour”, a tribute to famed singer/songwriter Wayne Mills. This gave him the opportunity to share his stories across the U.S. Recent tours in the Midwest, helped him gain a true faithful following throughout that region. He left the fans there wanting more. Thomas was named “house band of the week” twice for 96.5 Kiss Country in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and his first single “FLOAT”, hit the airways for the first time. The tune is a fan favorite and a fun upbeat song about simple southern days on the river. However, the EP gives such a variety of country吉林11选5遗漏 and really shows the versatility that Thomas portrays in his songwriting.
Thomas’ goal is gaining fans all over, but is definitely a local favorite. His current residence of Cherokee County, Georgia boasts a population of over 225,000 and named him “favorite musician” according to Cherokee Life Magazine. There he played the Woodstock Summer Concert Series this year, a show with an average attendance of 8,000 plus. Thomas was also asked to play a big show in his 吉林11选5遗漏town for The Walking Dead premier (Zombie Fest), which had an attendance of 4,000 plus. He is no stranger to the big stage and often plays large festivals, state fairs, conventions, and concerts for thousands of fans. It’s all about the connection for him though. You can often times find Thomas being a featured songwriter at a listening room around Atlanta as well.
Thomas has the gift of portraying his story to the audience and letting them feel the story. His band is second to none. Band members have opened for the likes of John Mayer and Widespread Panic, shared the stage with Gretchen Wilson, .38 Special, Alabama, Blue Oyster Cult, and Eddie Money to name a few. They have graced the stages of the Grand Ole Opry, Letterman, Leno, the Ellen Show, the Super Bowl, and the biggest arenas in the world.
Thomas is a true star in the making. He gives an all-out performance every show whether it be for 5,000 screaming fans stage front or a crowd of 30 in a listening room. It is only a matter of time before this fresh face makes his mark on the country吉林11选5遗漏 music world!
